The Frog Vase is more than a vessel for flowers – it is a sculptural interior object with an independent presence. The sculpturally developed frog motif gives it an expression that feels playful, characterful, and unusual at the same time. In this way, it creates a deliberate accent within the room and functions as an object with a clear impact that goes far beyond a purely decorative role. The developed frog elements wrap around the body in a relief-like way, giving the vase structure, vitality, and its own distinctive formal language. Developed in the WERNS Studio in Germany, the design was first worked out as a clay model and then realized with detailed precision. Hand-finished details and the modelled surface underline its special character and turn each piece into an expressive object. The Frog Vase works on sideboards, consoles, dining tables, shelves, or pedestals and functions both as part of a floral arrangement and as a standalone object. It creates deliberate accents in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, or boutique settings. It is especially well suited to interiors with character that work with unusual forms and consciously placed eye-catchers.
