The Venice Continuum
It began with an invitation to Venice. WERNS was selected to present a 3.5-meter Hiding Rabbit installation at the Venice Design Week — a sculptural exploration of light, scale, and presence. The installation became more than an exhibition piece; it became a moment suspended between architecture, reflection, and time. But the Limited Tempora Edition was not created for the Venice Design Week. It was born after it. The atmosphere of Venice - the shifting light on water, the dialogue between history and contemporary design - inspired a deeper collaboration with artist Juliane Golbs.
From Venice to your Home
The idea was not to reproduce the installation, but to translate its spirit into a collectible scale. Juliane Golbs approached the Hiding Rabbit as a canvas. Through expressive surface work and layered textures, she transformed each light sculpture into an individual meditation on time.“Tempora” symbolizes the passing of hours — 24 distinct interpretations of light and transformation. Just as Venice changes from morning haze to golden dusk, each piece captures a different emotional state of the day.
In addition, Hiding Rabbit Serves as a prize for curated young designers, who were honored at a spectacular Venetian estate during Venice Design Week.

Each of the 24 light sculptures is individually hand-painted by Juliane Golbs, transforming the iconic Hiding Rabbit into a one-of-a-kind artwork. No two pieces are alike. “Tempora” — Latin for time — reflects the concept behind the edition. Each sculpture captures the changing qualities of light, mood, and transformation. Limited to 24 numbered pieces worldwide. Signed and certified in Venice. A contemporary light design object that merges art, light, and collectible design.
About the artist – Juliane Golbs
Juliane Golbs is a German artist based in Hamburg. Painting has been her passion since early childhood and continues to be the driving force behind her creative work. Her artistic practice explores the beauty of fleeting moments and everyday experiences. Working intuitively with brushes, spray, and layered textures, Golbs creates expressive compositions that balance spontaneity with delicate detail. Through her art, she seeks to capture emotion, curiosity, and transformation — inviting viewers to slow down, observe closely, and rediscover a sense of wonder.
